Over the last 50+ years, Dry Creek's management and field personnel have drilled, completed, produced and operated 100's of wells throughout the Fort Worth Basin. From the conglomerates of Palo Pinto County, to the Calcareous Barnett of Cooke County, to the Marble Falls of Jack County, Dry Creek has the knowledge and experience to successfully produce oil and gas across North Texas.
Dry Creek, with personnel operating the Corsicana oil and gas fields since the the early 1990's, has produced Corsicana's shallow Nacatoch Sands by waterflood, ASP polymer flood and portable swabbing operations. Dry Creek has more recently been active in the deeper Pecan Gap formation. With declining production, Dry Creek has plugged and abandoned over 100 of its wells since 2019.
Dry Creek management and field personnel have extensive knowledge of the Marble Falls after drilling 30 wells within a few square miles of Shannon in northern Jack County. The team also has a keen understanding of the embedded limestones of the Barnett Shale of southwest Cooke County with the drilling of 70 wells .
Some consider a 1894 Corsicana oilfield discovery well to be the first commercial oil discovery west of the Mississippi. Dry Creek personnel have been operating in the Corsicana Field since the early 1990's.
